progress has been hindered by a pesky water leak from the lower coolant pipe. tried 3 times to get it sealed but it still leaks...grrrr.

found out the cause of the water leak, lower pipe was hitting the AC and binding it up making it leak. got it all fixed and got the intake piping routed and fired it up! runs pretty good, just needs a little tweaking and gotta adjust the new clutch. hopefully on the road soon!

Have you switched it over to a B6 ECU yet? If not, I believe there was one posted in the "For Sale" forum.

still gotta get the b6 ecu in, hook up a crankcase vent hose, fix a small water leak, and get the clutch adjusted. the ole junkyard motor run pretty darn good so far. used the factory festiva rubber intake hose with the intake hoses from a early 90s caravan to route the intake piping and it turned out perfect! will update once i get it out on the road and will compare its speed to the B3 and to some of my other cars (we have a strip where we test all of our cars to see how fast they are: stop light to bridge. 100mph is pretty fast. stock festiva does 67, my capri xr2 does 95, grand prix gtp comp g does 101, and my brothers turbo ss cobalt does 110)

cant wait to get it on the road again!

i was thinking of doin it that way too but i had more room to work with going the long way. and the piping i had to work with happened to work perfectly lol. im sure ill keep fine tuning it over time because nothing is ever "finished" lol

haha its easy to have ambition with a hoist!

bad news on the swap, was fighting clutch trouble and figured out i prolly put the disc in backwards

ive done countless clutches and even put one in at the racetrack before but never put a disc in backwards.

so out with the trans to fix my screw up!
