Ha Ha, Yup! Well, turns out after working on it for a while I just got too tired last night, when I put the car down, I forgot to retighten the lug nuts. I am retarded.... Got them tight today, and she feels much better!
I still need to clean up the interior some, and I have been debating modifying the Throttle body, not that I need more power, but I need more power....The throttle plate is thick, and the bar it is bolted to is in a serious need of hour-glassing!
On to some pics....
So this is the pigtail off of the auto tranny, cut so I can just plug in the reverse lights(that's what I assume it is)
This is the wires soldered, as has been stated, wires don't matter to which one they go to, they are only used for continuity.
and this is after the two wires have been heat shrinked. I always used to use electrical tape, never again! This stuff is great and never has issues with unraveling
I only replaced the drivers side control arm, the passenger side looked good.
And now to the one thing I am ashamed of.... Ha ha, There was no way to connect the shifter housing to the bracket on the car, so I drilled a hole and used a large bolt/nut combo. I may add another one, but this setup should be good.
This is the ebay civic/integra short shifter, oddly enough the same one I used on my old twincharged probe. The knob is one I made quick at work, I just got used to the feel of it, so now it goes in every manual car I drive, ha ha.
I didn't take any pictures of the linkage, but I had to jerry rig it with extra washers, as there was no bushing to be found, so I found a bolt of good length for both ends of the shifter linkage, and added what washers I needed to make a good tight fit. Worked great, shifter is tight, with about a half inch of side to side play at the top of the nob, and throws are very good.
Again, thanks for looking!
