Not much to update besides that I am over in Japan now for the next 2 years! About 2 days before leaving home I blew out the clutch which makes that twice im not sure if its just the fact that Im a beginner when it comes to manual or if something isn't right with the way its all set-up... well there is another clutch back at home with it to be put in when my buddies get a chance to do it, however I am planning on upgrading to a different tranny in the future either the G or F series not sure yet. Otherwise the only other thing that I have to share right now are some pictures that Im finally getting around to sharing some pics of it on here Ive had some up on facebook for a little while now thought but here they are....

Ok never-mind my computer wont load them onto here any ideas why? Theyr all in .jpeg format???

Im starting to ease myself back into the festiva game once again now that I will be heading back stateside within 6 months or so. I just went threw over 33 pages of new/updated threads since the last time I got on to here and I noticed a few new topics and tecniques of doing things poping up and I have so research in store for me over these upcoming months.

I also decided to drop in on build thread, and I just realized that when i came home for a month and got to my car i never updated on what happened so that what my next post is going to be all about as well as a few new pics but not to many. I also noticed that mmy photobucket picture links stopped working so I am also going to try and address that issue.

Back in Sept/Oct I took a trip back home to visit family and friends. While home I was able to do one of the things I had been itching to do.. Get down and dirty with Farrah and see what was wrong. The first thing to do was to turn the key and pray that she fired up right away with no work. Well there was no joy with that and so the battery got put on the charger, up went the hood and down I went I switched all the fuseable links to the box fusses and then I went to good ol' Wally World (Doesnt exist over here in japan BTW) and got me some cans of Seafoam and STP fuel treatment stuff as well as a stop at my facorite BP to get some premium fuel as well as a few scratch -offs. When I got back home some Seafoam went in the crankcase and the rest went into the tank as well as a few gallons of fuel and that got her to start turning over and sputtering out so in went the STP treatment i got and I kept trying at her and eventually i got to the point where as long as I didnt let her drop down to idel and kept pumping the gas she would run at a stand still, in any gear.... I could shift threw ever gear but i wouldnt move an inch and the milage would be going up. So my buddy and I adjusted the idel and got her to stay running by her own and iirc the engine was pulsing in rpms (I think we got that resolved later on but im not sure) The next thing to do was to get underneeth her, well as I started to get her up into the air I realised that the underbody had gotten really soft from sitting outside for a year on a gravel/dirt pad (I know deffinatly not the ideal conditions for a car that doesnt move) so at that point is when I realised that a new frame/body would be in my future once I get back to the states. I havent gotten any further than that in looking for a new body yet due to the fact that I do not yet know where I am going to be stationed next, I should hopefully be finding out before March comes around (Tax Returns????) But anyways once I was able to figure out a safe way to get her up in the air I went and looked at the first thing I thought it was after i diganosed that it wasnt a blown clutch. And sure as poop the passanger side axle had poped out. After about a half hour or so of getting the right tools from my buddys house and comining back (about 3 trips of course) we got it back together and MOVING!! I was overjoyed and at that point I stated that my goal for the entire month I was home was to not have her towed at all....

So what does your typical 20 year old male with too much money usual do to their car, SUBS! I got 2 1200watt kenwood 12''s and a 3000watt amp to replace the single 12" I already had in there and man do those POUND. Haha. Totaly not going to be a permanent feature of my car. Later on though I started having battery problems and i just assumed that it was the battery so I charged it again overnight. The next day I went out drove around and caught up with a bunch of my friends, especially the ones that helped get this beauty together. For most of them is was their first time in it moving since the engine swap almost over 2 years ago by that point and they said that no matter how much it was a pain in the rear the absolutly loved it and every second working on it was worth it. To me that just gave me a huge feeling of pride and acomplisment. But as the day went on the dash lights and electronics started to die out and the battery light came on. I charged it once again overnight and the next day I went and got me a nice brand new AGM battery hoping for all my problems to be solved. Negitive ghost rider same issue later that day so Im just sitting at home thinking what the puck???? I pop open the hood and just start looking for anything and everything, I couldnt figure it out at all so i had my buddy come over and we spent a good 10 minutes looking around before we realised the altenator belt had broke off so we went over to the parts store thinking no big deal and got the appropiate belt... wrong again for some reason we had to go back 3 more time to get the right length belt which why that happend is completly beyond me to this day but whatever we got her runnins and working just fine and I was able to drive her around any day anytime I wanted for the rest of my stay at home and she didnt see a single tow truck the entire time! At the end of my stay at home this time I got her into a proper hybernation inside my storge unit, I filled her up with fuel and ran some stabalize for a few minutes and then pulled off the battery and tucked her into a long slumber with a nice cosy blanket.

While home I also got her a friend to keep her company, a nice 2006 kawasaki 636 with 18k-ish miles on it and man is that thing almost as much fun as a Festiva. I only managed to see 145 on it but theres just something about the way Farrah handles that brings me joy.

Haha, I have a buch left to do on it but Im starting to think I should wait until I get a new body to continue any further. Im hoping to get statione on the east coast next so that access to the FF community is much easier as well as finding parts.

I got my orders today and at the end of July I will be living in California, now the search for a rust free body can start to begin. I really am only looking for a body that has all of the interior preferably in good condition. If it doesn't run not a big deal because I will be swapping in my current engine and transmission, I also have an entire suspension swap ready to install. However if the new body already has the rear Aspire swap done or the engine is BP(T) or B6(T) swapped ill have a whole car and tons of parts for sale.
