 Keeping them alive...

My wife has a 1990 LPlus Yellow and mine is the 92GL show here:https://picasaweb.google.com/1050521...COHFi6azye2EMAOriginally posted by RhodeStiva View Post93 GL it's my wife I am hoping this spring Eurotiva is gonna do a swap for me.

I'm paying the insurance company $512 to keep it with a salvage title. I'm pretty sure that it's worth at least 3 times that even before the damage is repaired. New engine has about 70,000 put on it since I installed it 5 years ago along with lots of new parts then.

Both are 5 speed and now I'm thinking about selling one of these and getting at least one automatic since we're near 70.
 (All ours have stock 1.3's.)
Bought my first one new in 1990 and got hooked. My youngest son (35) is still driving it now in Louisville, KY. Has over 350,000 on it.

I'm sure all will come out great with your 93GL conversion. I'm really happy to see the younger folks keeping these rare cars alive.

MB Wheels Seven X! Nice.Originally posted by RhodeStiva View Post
this is pic of the wheels I would consider a different mounting kit for the radio, though: http://www.scosche.com/car-audio/veh...&model=FESTIVA They make the only metal installation kit for the Festiva. It's more, but it's not plastic...

Geez! What did you pay for your car? I just can't bring myself to put $600 into tires/rims on a car I paid $300 for...

Those fatty tires on the aspire rims you had are going to rub... Looks like a good deal on the tranny stuff.
