this is my 89 Festiva L daily/ralli-x build that im slowly starting to work more on. So far i the only basic mods on it are:

Bryant Speed B-Pillar bar
Bryant Speed clear runnng light signal conversion
Bryant Speed High pressure copper break line's with a 94' protege booster swap
Hi-Pressure kevlar fuel lines
05 Malibu muffer (super quiet but great flow)

so far thats all I have done to it soon to do more hopefully.

I still need to do that! Any detailed pics of the install? Don't you just need some washers for spacers?

It was too dark to take pics, and i didnt use any washers as spacers but now i wish i had.

Funny fact. My stock 89 L can hang with Spec RX7 race cars on the track. The only mod was 15x6 wheels and 185/45/15 tires. She has almost 200k on her and is all original ( sloppy shifter, noisy cv joints and all). So maybe it's not such a slow kart afterall!
Looking forward to your progress. My B-pillar bar is very similar.

Got my dual bend muffler installed, its got a super deep rich tone with zero rasp, sounds like a 1.8 Bimmer. Dont mind the wire, this was before i welded on the hanger. Oh and its a megan racing exhaust. Next up is a weld your own header kit and a weber carb. uploadfromtaptalk1358047631332.jpg
