I'm Kind of new to the festiva craze. My brother got me hooked on The festiva world. It inspired me to pick up one of my own and join in. And little did I know just how easy it is to catch Festiva Fever.
This is Grimm my 1989 Festiva L

I bought the car from BoatDrinks back in febuary. The stock B3 motor was shot when I got him but with a little help from an importing company in Atlanta GA I managed to get my hands on an 89 J-spec Mazda 323 B6 with that came stock with a carb already on the motor and less than 70K miles.

At the moment the car is currently in Georgia having the new motor put into it to which I owe many, many, many thanks and kudos to HTCHBCK (joeseph) For undertaking the installation of the motor. Grimm will also be getting a 5spd transmission with the motor again courtesy of HTCHBCK.
From that point the car will be driven back to my home state of SC and I will begin the work on the stereo upgrades including A JVC stereo head, four 3" scosche horn tweeters that will be replacing the stock speakers, and four 6.5" scosche woofers that will be going in the door and custom mounted in the back seat. And to finish, a 300 watt Jensen Amplifier wired into two Road Gear 10" Subs that will be custom mounted just behind the back seat. The original wiring was missing for the radio so DriverOne and I will be rewiring the stereo front to back.

These are the speakers I will be using Minus the 10" subs (pics soon). All speakers will be getting removed from their original boxes and custom mounted.
There will be several more pics and updates to come as the summer progresses. I have to give thanks once again to BoatDrinks for selling me the car, and especially to HTCHBCK for agreeing to undertake the installation the motor and transmission. and to Driverone for helping me every step of the way through this car. I could not have done it without these guys helping me as much as they have.
