Hey guys, wow I really don't know where to start lol, I've owned my festy for quite some time know, I bought it from a local guy and member on here years ago, and it blew a hg and sat. Well I ended up selling it back to him and regretted every day lol well Money got tight for him and offered it back to me and I got it back!! And have had it over a year since then. The stock trans finally went months ago and i finally found a replacement and getting around to putting it in. The car has a b8me swap along with some other fun mods. The previous owner was over earlier today and we were both saying how honestly this car is the most fun we have ever had in a car before lol.

    Well onto the pics.
This was the final resting spot of the stock trans, had to tow it home. The diff exploded

Getting ready to drag her under the carport

    Got it all out

    The little b8

    The new trans

My home made clutch alignment tool lol

    The old trans case...

Never could get this axle out if the new trans so will just have to get a new boot and install in once it's in.

That it for now. After the trans is back in and the car is driving again, plans are for some new wheels and tires and some mk2 coilovers, maybe some aspire brakes, goal is to make this info a track car, for now it's my gas saver, my other ride is this lol a 68f100

-88' Mazda 323 SE, work in progress..

About the stuck CV, just wiggle it! kind of jostle it around a little..

Seriously if that seal leaks you might wish you had replaced it. There are
some fairly brutal methods to extract the CV shell, drivers from the cross shaft side,
chain and porta-power, or chain and monster slide hammer, Monster air impact hammer,
cross shaft removal and cutting axle at spline-seal area..and more!!

EDIT!!! Saw you are driving again, awesome, hope all is well!

As long as it does not leak you are golden!

I remember seeing that Festy a couple years ago. The paint looks a little dull, you might try some rubbing compound, lol.
That F100 is sweet. Reminds me of. 67 F100 my best friend had in High School. We shortened the frame and turned it into a short box and dropped in a 460/C6. It had ported 429 heads, a mild RV cam, Edelbrock intake, headers and a 750 Holley. It was supposed to a "tow truck" to pull car trailers but there were very few cars on the street that could out run it, lol.
