Welcome Darcy. Nice to see another Calgary member! In what part of the city are you located? I'm up in Silver Springs. Check out the details on Westiva coming up on July 13th in K-Country, just follow this link for all the details and then go to this one to let us know if you can make it.

Have to ask... where did you find the Festiva? Is that the one that was in Airdrie a while ago?

      Cheers

I have these exact tires on my white car, and they are absolutely mind-blowing! I hope you love them as much as I do!

Thanks guys, its only the beginning so far, it will be a long term project that will have minor visual mods and hopefully horsepower one day lol. Does anybody know if a mk3 vw VR6 lip will fit a stock festiva front bumper? I have a buddy that owns a tire shop here in town, just called him and i can get those same federals for 65 each plus free mounting since i used to work there!

I Heated the oven up to 420 then turned the oven off, stuck the head light in the oven for 15-20 mins, then i carefully pryed between the lense and metal housing with an old kitchen knife tell the lense popped off. Scraped all the old glue/sealant out of the groove on the housing and glass then resealed them when i was done with goop marine silicone. I put a bag of floor dry on top of the lense to apply pressure while the glue cured. Make sure you remove your head light bulbs and bulb retainers to prevent damage. And also make sure your gf or wife approves of you using the oven for this before you start!

Little bit of progress tonight, switched out the passenger fender bolts, rad hold downs and intake bracket with stainless steel allen head bolts, acorn nuts and washers. Weekend plans are to remove drivers side strut assembly for cleaning and painting and remove valve cover to paint it barbie pink!
