  • Today is my official "Build start" day...

    ...for my car.

Since ground for my garage has been leveled (finished today), I now have time and spare funds to get the car going. (the garage build can wait a few months).

At the local Dyno Day yesterday I was laughed-at when I pulled into the parking lot. If they only knew what I have planned. I was going to do a "before" run but decided "screw it". I'll just show 'em. I can't wait. I've already started getting my hands on some pretty cool custom stuff. I know they will still laugh but at least they will do it with their jaws resting on their chests.

For the most part this is going to be a somewhat secret build. Only 2 guys know my full plans. Nothing too "out there" but taking the next step. No details will be spared.

          Fixed that one for ya.

A thread where you don't know what someone is planning (if executed properly) is great, as long as it's interesting enough to get some tension going.

Kinda what I'm going to be doing. Not really a build thread, just gonna show enough progress to keep interest. My goal is FM9.

I'm not saying this is going to be the sweetest Festiva ever. It's just gonna be LOTS of cool and fun.

OK. I talked to Jake yesterday (texted anyway) and was saying that I had a crapload of money to start the car with and it was burning a hole in my pocket. I nearly got on the computer and ordered ALL of my Turbo stuff today. Well, I spent it. On a truck, because I can't be without a vehicle when my Festiva is down for the count. Soooo, as part of the whole build process I needed to buy another car for a dd. Now that that is done I guess any money I come across is gonna be partly for savings and mostly for the Festy build. ALMOST, guys!!!!!!!!!!!
