Gomez. You really want a 1987 Mazda 121 Eurogrille.
Because it looks cool with the lights off.
And also because it looks even better with the lights on.
Ask AutoVillage to look for you.
Good luck.
No lights.Last edited by bravekozak; 04-10-2014, 09:37 PM.

Ok I found a pic but it's not quite the one I was hoping for, but you can see how the festiva filler lines up with that style grille and how you may not like it considering you're going for a show car... The pic I was hoping for is a straight on shot that shows the gap between the filler and headlight

I just asked the guy about the fenders and corners. I will try and get them. I have a pic of Brian's stuff. I just found it from the thread where I bought these. I think I can make it work but I will try to get the complete set-up first.

I'll do some digging and look for Brian's pic since it'll be better to explain that way lol
Personally I would have gotten the fenders and corners as well cause everything will line up like factory, but without knowing the differences, I would have done the same as you lol

Brian (25Horseplay) I believe has pictures to show the differences and I believe he ran festiva fillers with that style grille, even though they didn't quite fill the gap properly
1. stock fenders and corners with the stock filler and a properly made filler for the filler LOL Cause I think I am pretty sure what you are talking about
or
2. the correct clear corners with stock fenders and pride fillers. Trying to stay away from the fenders unless you know where I can find a new set already painted white lol. Maybe in all reality I should get the dented up fenders and fix them and make that work. but I will take your opinion on 1 or 2 cause that is more likely what I will do. pics if you may have them?

Was gonna try and get that gusset in this evening but not quite feelin' it tonight. So maybe Saturday since the local 1/8th mile test-n-tune got cancelled. I was gonna try my best at a good 1/8th time on my stock dd Festiva.
Anyway, more parts for stock !!!
Slotted rotors, calipers (still need powder coated), pads, studs
New Kia Pride front end (headlights, fillers, and grill) all new, bolt on, and the right color out of the box.

After getting the stock support off it became obvious to me the need for more strength and/or a stiffer front end.
It is also removable for easier engine removal/work etc. plus more room for intercooler. Got a couple ideas on that one already.

You may want to gusset the back side of the mount plates to the frame rail with some small pieces of angle as well. That will help tie it all in. Great work BTW!

The idea I had since he's going to the lengths to replace the front support would be to angle grind the driver side floor and move the nuts over to sit flush inline with the transmission, patch old crossmember holes, reweld the floor, smooth over with grinder on the outside, repaint floor and adjust the front to suit.

Move the nuts over for the crossmember to sit flush with the transmission mounting points..
I Do apologize.. I know what I was trying to get across.. My fingers just didn't keep up.
