Because I just can't (won't?!) stop posting here, I'll talk about my second trailer, dubbed "Big Bendy". It's Harbor Freight's [HaulMaster #42709]. I've discovered the solution to the wiring issue with these: Two separate wiring harnesses, and two separate sets of tail lights. This thing's built out of C-channel steel. The cool thing about that is that if you install the rear cross-beams of each section inside out, they recess enough to where you can install LED strip tail lights in a protected housing. THAT means that you can haul the trailer folded and still have tail lights. The solution I discovered is actually already available at Harbor Freight - [HaulMaster #66616]. Cut in half and reversed, you can then wire one half into the rear section of the trailer, then disconnect the rear section of the trailer wiring and flip the back up. Hardwired are a set of LED tails in the back of the front half of the trailer, with the other half of the cut harness spliced in. You'll need to run the bulk of the wiring up one side of the trailer for ease of access, but that's no big deal. Here's a pic of it, but you've all seen them...
