If that is your goal, you should look at a better platform than an aspire. Im all for boosting your b3. But really if you are going for big power levels or wanting a car right on the ragged edge. There are better options. The b3 won't hold over 15psi and live long term. Even with meth. not to mention you will want brakes that can stop the thing. And the tiny E series tranny wont live long either. By no means am i trying to bash you. or rain on your parade. if you want a nicely running say 115ish hp boosted b3. Thats very attainable, and if driven nicely i bet would live a long time.

^Have you done it?
Aspire brakes are great. Better than most people think. The same brakes stop a 2600lb car just fine. I know because I have one. I would say brakes are a non-issue. The rest is how fast can you afford to go. Time and money wise.
Boost the guts out of it.Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

I've been down this road....don't expect a b3 to hold much more than 10 lbs unless you upgrading internals.
I ran stock ecu, with stock injectors, and a 12:1 fmu. I don't see a point in bigger injectors, as it will run like crap in off boost situations. Also I got away with stock base timing of 10*.-Greg

Edit… forgot to mention that the above is also on R compound tires with 4 times the grip of most street tires. Aspire brakes take some pedal effort, but if you can make them fade with a good set of pads you're using the brakes too much and if you can't stop the car fast enough you are out of luck, because it'll outstop just about anything on the road. I have shelves of products from Wilwod and Brembo, and never found a need for anything more than drilled ebay rotors with Performance friction pads on auto aspire brakes. More than 40K track miles on 1 set of pads!Last edited by Advancedynamix; 02-24-2014, 02:00 AM.Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Auto rotors are thicker and the calipers are sized to match themJerry
