Not sure why, maybe its my browser, but I cannot get multi-quote to work! lol

Damkid, a member by the username sfmskater just picked up the White 92 GL. So Ill be building and driving the green one. Im planning on going to Ohiostiva provided that it doesnt fall on a day that I am working, or putting on an event for my other clubs. Ive been following your build for a long time, longer than Ive been a member. You and possibly two or three others really inspired me to get one, I love tinkering with, and building things. Festivas totally fit that, and they fit in with my other cars IMO lol

bravekozak, I love the green color, alot. I have some paint laying around for another project that I am going to shoot on it for now. But I plan on going back to the Cayman green in the future for sure.

Thank you for the kind words, means a lot

I used to have a festiva the same green colour as yours, it's where I broke the ice on engine swapping... Started with a B6, then later that car got a BP, aspire swap etc but fell apart not long after I got my red festiva which got a B6T before the KL lol

I found that once I learned all the interchangeability between all the Mazda drivetrains, they're like a jig-saw puzzle, just picture the swap you want and gather the right parts to make it fit the chassis you're working with lol

      1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
      1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Yeah Ive been planning a BP swap for my Miata, but havent been able to even think about doing it since Ive been daily driving it. Once I source a BP, Ill pull the B6 and source some FWD intake/exhaust/mounts/etc from the junkyard for the Festiva to drop the B6 in. Thats at least the plan as of now.

I LOVE the KLZE, almost swapped one into a K8 powered MX-3 I used to have. If it wasnt so expensive, Id swap one into the Miata for sure. K8s and KLs sound like angels singing lol And as of now I am pretty happy and surprised by the B3, its a peppy little thing for only 63 hp. And summer is nearly upon us, so Ill be driving the Miata a lot (Festiva too most likely), so I dont foresee the swap happening anytime real soon...

No pics, but the big brown Santa has delivered so far,

          Inner and outer tie rods,
          Thermostat,
Escort GT Master (For an Automatic )
          And a Civic Short Shifter

Waiting on the steering rack boots, rotors, pads, water pump, and timing belt kit.

Going to order control arms, as well as plugs and wires. Intended to order them.... Somehow forgot when ordering everything else!

Pics in the next day or so, picking up my fender and door tomorrow!!

So, I got the Escort Master cylinder and the tie rods installed. Drives SO much better. Though I definitely need better bigger brakes now.... (My local junkyard does have an Aspire!)

Went to the junkyard and scored a door, fender, hatch, and headlight housing for $80!!!!!!

Remember what the drivers side looked like before... The tornado damage, and terrible repair attempt... Opening the door caused it to hit the fender, and pop loudly.

Installed it all (Headlight housing wasnt yet installed) And I had one sad looking Festiva...

So then the mis-matched paint was driving me nuts... I didnt have time to gut rust like I should, but I HAD to do something. Enter my $50 Rustoleum paint job, the color is 'Seaside' not sure if I like it... Kinda wish they had something that looked like the original green.... But this will do for now!

Even if you don't like the colour it certainly cleans it up a lot!

Saw a Snyder CT600 today, had to stop for some pics!

It uses a 600cc Inline-2 that makes about 33 hp. Its good for about 55-70 mph depending on what sources you read lol And supposedly 70 mpg is easily achievable. Unfortunately the engine is in the rear, unlike the front engine'd Reliant Robin, so don't expect to see one roll over right in front of you. Oh yeah, and they are imported from China... Oh, and they are titled and registered as a motorcycle. So make sure you have your motorcycle license when you go to test drive one!

And no, I didn't test drive it lol

(Crap, didn't get my door shut!!! lol)

Thinking about adding some touches of black to the Festiva to break up the blue!
