Hey guys!
This here is where I'm going to dump all the details on my little Festiva, which has been named, quite unoriginally, Stevie.
Stevie is a 1993 Ford Festiva Trio with the 1.3 Carby B3 engine. I bought him for $450 (AU) several months back, because I was out to buy myself a first car. Little did I know I'd fall in love with the little beast.
When I first bought Stevie, all he needed were a few light globes, 4 spark plugs and 3L of engine oil. Yes, the full 3L it holds...
After that, very little had to be done with the car, that was until a few days ago when a couple of very dull people decided to break into him, busting the door locks, jamming the ignition barrel and after failing to steal it, the decided to make off with my battery.
So, at the price of a battery, a few freebies from work and a favour from the guys at work to repair the ignition barrel, Stevie is nearly back in a right way. I just need the door locks fixed, but they'll do for a little while.
I'll add pics soon of my little buddy, I promise.
Next week is service time and I'll be able to start tidying him up. Oh, and, adding a Civic short shifter.
