I love the idea of a bulletproof engine but it looks more like a destroked b6 to me, but i'm new to this, also not seeing where it says anything about forged crankshaft for the b5
It looks more like a BP than a b6. The head is definitely not b6, because the distributor is on the exhaust cam. Like a bp.

Would someone in a, country that got this engine, be willing to get me a crankshaft out of one of these? If this is a forged short stroke BP crank, then I need a few of them.

These engines are plentiful here, just yesterday I saw one throw down in a garage, if is a forged short stroke BP crank and you want I could be glad to get you/ anyone else some. I know the BP is a bit wider even though it looks the same, i don't know if that helps

I wish we got those engines here. I'm intrigued. I wonder if that engine is like the zlde.

          Hmmmm
Symmetrical bore and stroke... Reminds me of the fe3.

          Definitely a bulletproof recipe

I'd like a 78mm stroke BP engine. That allows for longer rods which makes a mighty fine e85 injected turbo engine. Alpaccino, what would you charge for a good B5 dohc crank shipped to 85040 USA?

I would not charge myself but would have to check to see how much to ship and source it then let you know

Hey Advancedynamix i'll be visiting America for 12 days in August, 14-25, first time traveling i might add, wonderin if you are still interested in the crank, could try source it and carry it with me, the only issue it that i'll be in Bronx New York though. It would be awesome to meet someone from the here though htd Also i would love to carry back with me the suspension setup because the first 50lbs is free on the plane not sure when again i'll travel to us, the problem is Raceland only sell the set and i can't get the cabriolet shock for the backend, need some help and support/favor thanks all.

I do still want that DOHC B5 crank. If the cost is over 200.00 total to get it to me though, it makes no sense since I can get an entire JDM b5 engine for a couple hundred more from an importer. Send me a PM about your suspension and maybe we can work something out, but your not any closer to me in New York than you are in Jamaica, and I'd much rather fly to Jamaica than New York if I need to deliver suspension. lol

Hey alpaccino, fellow JA (St. Eliz.) member here. This Pride has been parked for a while so I decided to get it back on the road. Working out issues as they pop up. Latest was brake booster/master cylinder failure going downhill 2 days ago :nightmare: , curious what your setup is

I did a little research and found out the Mazda Demio was a successor to the Festiva in Japan using the same B3. Seeking a Demio booster now

We have demios in australia. They're known as a Mazda 121 metro chassis code dw.

Can probably source it from here I just don't know what it would cost

Eventually found a booster/cylinder that fit from another vehicle, not sure which but it's an upgrade

Got a quote to import a cut up Demio, roughly USD 2500

                                Pictures as promised

Out with the old, had to change the backend, the lower strut mounting hole on the left side had all the threading damaged (so called mechanic) discovered some wires in it.

What i had installed before i see the light

                                in with the new

Pollys purchased from the festiva store htd

modifying the front shocks didn't wanted to post this pic because my friend failed all safety regulations

                                the final height now is
