Thanks, guys! I really enjoy driving it, too. When the stock engine fails, I'll be back on here to figure out the engine swap!

Looking great! What color is that? It's hard to distinguish in the pictures. Looks grey or blueish? These things seem to never be finished, haha, so keep us updated on all the little improvements along the way.Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Driving is my passion, as it was for the people who invented the automobile, the people who paved the first roads and the people who continue to improve the automobile. Please respect this passion.

It's a dark metallic grey. It sort of changes color depending on the light. I was really annoyed that it looked kind of purple under my shop's florescents, but I like it in natural daylight. Since it was just a cheapie exterior paint, I wanted it to coordinate with the original light grey door jambs, under hood, etc.Freddie the Festiva- 1991 L

Welcome to the site and ya Freddie looks pretty good from when you brought it home. I think We are the Champions works well for these little road warriors, when you have questions try the search button and if you still need help just ask. Good luck and have fun.An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.

Hey, thanks for the offer, loknlode! I'm strangely partial to the auto belts even though it took me forever to get them working. It's one of those little Festiva quirks I find charming. New passengers don't tend to agree, however.
The previous owner had snipped all the wiring to the doors in his salvage of, what must have been, a very nice stereo system. Seems to be the only thing he cared for in the car.
My only interior tan trim seems to be along the auto belt path above the doors. I have become a regular at the numerous junk yards around here and managed to frankenstein together a fairly decent-looking set, but I could really use the back seat/cargo area grey interior plastics. They are in really bad shape. I have considered doing the Krylon plastic paint that I read about someone else doing on here, then I'd paint those random tan pieces to match.Freddie the Festiva- 1991 L

I sent some photos to a seller on eBay called Lonestar Treasures and they did a custom job for me. They charged me a total of $120.02 with shipping. They have a bunch of different color options, too. These are a heavy cloth with a light foam backing that can be washed in the washing machine (a must for me with the previously mentioned fur-face always getting things dirty). I had looked at getting the neo-supreme material, but I just like the feel of the cloth. I bought a square of seat foam from Joanne Fabrics and put it under the cover on the driver's side for some bum comfort.
Here's one of Lonestar Treasures' eBay listings that you can email them from and see some color options. They don't have the Festiva listed as an option right now. I have the black with charcoal colored insert. http://www.ebay.com/itm/181689802470Last edited by preheateddinner; 03-20-2015, 10:50 AM.Freddie the Festiva- 1991 L
