I did not do a build thread for Hodge, so I will do one for Murph!
With Hodge looking to be sold to a neighbor, we have decided to keep the red 90 Festiva and my oldest son named it "Murph". My son was with me when we went to get this car and participated in all the fun we had getting it home (link to story below). He was also with me when we went to get some parts from a local wrecking yard. It too did not go well. Due to all the trouble we have already incountered with the car, my oldest son stated than Murphys Law is kicking our arse! Hence were the name "Murph" came from.

Plan of attack: B6T/transmission out of a 91 Capri, typical suspension mods, update a few interior pieces, rob some parts off of Hodge before he goes.
We did a little more cleaning and inspecting of Murph. He's been banged up once before. Both the passenger side fender and hood are not orginal. The core support is a little banged up to. 20150907_150524_resized.jpg20150907_150535_resized.jpg I picked up a good support and will transplant it. While I'm add it, I plan on doing Charlies lower support mod.
I rehung the drivers door as it was not bolted on. Already have picked up Aspire hubs and other braking components.
Already acquired some Rota 15x7 wheels for Murph. Talk about high class over the daisies on Hodge.

In the attached picture you can see the mud stain on the passenger front wheel and bumper from where the mountain slide down into the car.
