Figured this would be a good place to document my festiva buying that I have done and will continue to do. I realized I have bought a lot of cars so far this year so I wanted to document for posterity.

Bought the first 2 in late April...
This one I sold a week later to friend:

This one was a parts car and has a blown/disassembled engine:

Picked up this capri xr2 with a softball size hole in the tranny in early June:

Picked up these 2 carburated cars in late June (red one needs a tranny and the silver one is a smoker with 350k+ miles) (both L models):

Picked up this cattle chaser in mid July (90 L-plus):

Picked up this one late July, doesn't run but in really good condition otherwise:

Picked up this one on August 1st at the Police Auction:

Bought this aspire a week later with a blown motor and an auto:

Then I hit the jackpot and got 3 donors all in the same week (Escort GT is complete runner, 323 is rusted out runner, capri XR2 was driven with no oil and seized the motor):

And then this past weekend I bought 4 festivas (2 rusty parts cars, a clean teal L model, and a black 92 GL Sport)

That should make for a pretty good attraction. You could charge admission to see all the wonders.
          Whoa, that was fun!

The guy actually drove around in the field and herded cattle with the car. Occasionally they would get ornery and hit the car.

I actually already had a great start to the collection. I started out the year with 13 festivas, 3-4 aspires, a protege DX, and some other cars. What's not shown is the miata engine I picked up and the capri XR2 trans. When I bought the 2 cars in late June the owner gave me 20+ tires, almost half of them were studded and in fairly good condition.

You need to have a gathering for Festiva folks at your farm with lots of Festivites. So much room for festivities.
