  • my festy build.

Hi everyone. I am new to the site, and new to the festiva family. I needed a good milage car and found an 88 for cheap. Since then I have done a lot of reading into the recommend changes, and dream swaps so on. I have located a 97 aspire for cheap I am going to get and possibly another festy, a 91 with a bad motor . So I am looking for a few suggestions and ideas as I go along. This will be a slower running work in progress but am looking forward to it. I will post pics as I get them.

Ok, so no aspire, got sold out from under me, and can't get a reply concerning the 91. So for now I do have the 88 L. All stock, decent shape, no rust, interior is dirty but not destroyed. 4spd is decent. Brakes are a Vegas gamble whether they will work or not. I see swaps from kia Rios on here, will anything from the sephia swap over? I find those for cheap often.

Id check out your local junkyard. Usually Kia rio's are usually present and you really only need the front brakes. new wheel bearings are a must. 04/05 rios have studs oem if your into that. note rio swap is 4x100 bolt pattern compared to your festiva 4x114.
