A manual into an auto is only a little bit harder than a manual into a manual. You just need a pedal assembly and a shifter. I'm sure someone has that stuff on here that they could donate for the price of shipping off a parts car.

That one automatic XR2 does actually exist. Or atleast it did online in an eBay auction I saw about a year ago.
