I also got a chance to drive the runt by the car wash and vacuum it out (no point in a wash haha)

I found so much weird old runny excrement. A watch, a marble, an enormous old wasp nest, and a scorpion den. All sucked up into the abyss! There were so many leaves within the doors themselves I probably shed 5 lbs on each side.

                Ahh dangit, busted. :~P

Yea, love the car to death. But i just finished my BPT miata build which has a lot of room to grow, and is consumimg most of my time. Im also going back to school so I quit my job recently and am riding on my ETH investment for now.

                TL;DR
                No money, less time.

Also, I got stuck between deciding whether I wanted a b6t, bp, bpt, or just start an ev conversion which is what I'm attending school for.

All in all, going from my BPT track prepped miata to this, the smiles just aren't there. And now that many japanese cars are legal for import, i feel like changing chassis completely to one of my dream cars... the suzuki cappuccino.

You're still welcome to come play with us over at IMR in your MX5. I bet it'll make you want another Festiva though. Lol.

So far nothing but lowballs. I'm moving in 8 days, so if I still have it then, I guess it's coming with me down to San Antonio

There may come a day when you're happy it didn't sell.

Pro Autosport event Thanksgiving Weekend 2013. 1993 Ford Festiva B6t shaking it's tail with some pretty stiff Competition. Placed second in HL2 on saturday a...

The Miata that is chasing the b6t Festiva in the middle part of this video puts over 350hp to the wheels, and it's on wide (275mm iirc) Hoosier R6s. The Miata is a purpose built time attack car and the driver is experienced and has been driving this miata for close to a decade. The Festiva is 180hp, stock b6t (sans ARP studs and cometic head gasket and snow water meth kit) and the car is a daily driver (as in the current owners wife drives this car to work on rainy days).
This was a time trials event, and the festiva put down a second faster lap than the Miata. This Festiva is 1800lbs without driver and is on 185mm Yokohama A048 tires. The car passed CARB inspection in the state of tune it was in for this event. It has no fender flares, no brake ducting, no roll cage, not even an intercooler. You may want to hold on to that econobox.

Welp I ended up getting a lot of interest with several cash offers but I think I'll hang on to it. Almost ashamed of myself for even considering parting with it yet, the party has barely begun.

Those Yokohama tires look so nice, is there a cheap place to get them stateside? They seem to be more popular in EU markets

Currently considering a 50kW+ electric system (67HP, instant torque)

That would be interesting. Rear wheel power or suppliment to the front?
Am i understanding correct that you would be adding a 67hp electric motor to the gas engine? Or removing the gas engine and doing just electric?

Either way, that'll be a boat load more fun than even a b6d swap.
