I am thinking of converting my Festiva to a coal-burning steam boiler. Does that make me special?

One thing about the possible conversion, the heater should work a bit better.

Fuel system parts arrived today. Consists of a 10 litre fuel tank and a fuel pump. Perfect for the setup at this level. The fuel tank is great, nice and shiny. Only $116 AU.




Im not going to mount this in the boot as everyone does, its gonna be mounted in the front passenger footwell. Nice and short hoses, no need for lenghty hose routing etc.

It really made me laugh to find out you actually have the engine in the car at this point after reading the first two pages Way too many people starting threads about poop they want to do and never even get their hands dirty. The engine is a cool choice, good luck with the build and don't forget to update

Car will be only for drag and roll racing. Definetly not going to be a road car. Once i fit the tank,pump and fuel delivery/return system, im going to install the factory wiring loom and it should be ready to start then.
