There are only 2 colors better than surf blue on a Festiva, yellow and aqua (and aqua is really close to being the same) IMHO. I often think they should have done bright green. And the L+ interior seems to be the most durable. Nice fix up.

I drove Rosie to madness the past two years but she will belong to someone else by the end of August so I will be driving Nellie this year.

Possibly, hoping to bring the red '88 if it's up and going by then. Might could talk my brother in law and sister into bringing the other two, they're getting interested in them I think.

Thanks! The seat material and foam have held up very well, much better than the newer GL seats I've seen. The 89/89 L seat material is also very durable but they're not nearly as comfortable.

Where did you get the new windshield John? The one on my white car has tons of wiper scratches but I looked on Safelite's website and they didn't have one in stock so I was afraid of "hitting a rock" and filing an insurance claim and not having one available.

Dads shop mainly does auto glass replacement so we got it through one of our suppliers, Wholesale Glass. They didn't have it in stock but was able to track one down from another glass supplier's warehouse and buy it from them, then transfer it to us through their truck routes to save freight. They had one other but it was scratched.

Rockauto shows three in stock but they're really high, around $250 shipped.

There is a Safelite facility relatively close to me so I might run down there and talk to someone to see if they can find one somewhere before it accidentally breaks.

Ryal, we dropped the car off at a paintless dent repair shop and he said the car was too rough for him to do anything with it. I thought that might a possibility, so now I've got to decide if I'll leave it as-is or evenually repaint the whole car.
