Finally picked up the bucket from my buddys house, and got it home.

First thing i did was paint the grill. I used universal silver from duplicolor, because they were out of ford silver. I also used their clear, its dull but can be lightly buffed fpr a little more shine.

Its actually pretty close, after i buff the car it'll all blend in together good enough for what it is.
Tonight, i pulled the fender off and decided to clean the rest of the car too. Got all that mold off!! Looks so much better!!

So, heres the fender. It actually came out alot better than the grill did! I did the grill in direct sunlight in the middle of the day so it probably cooked the paint a bit. Also this is after 3 coats of clear.

So, next up is wheel bearing and shifter and door. Then im gonna drive it while i accumulate parts for the b6d"t" build. Also picking up an e153 next month from a buddy whos all into mr2s.
