  • EDIT: Won FORD NATIONALS at Englishtown NJ in the 1/4 mile!

Well now that I finally have my pics up I figured I would gloat a little bit...
On my birthday November 4th I went out to the annual Fords at Etown to run my car with nitrous that I recently installed but was unable to due to the wrong jets (I have 100+ shots nothing smaller). So I decided to bracket race my Festy in the manual trans shootout. It was a GREAT SUCCESS!! Out of the 34 cars in my bracket class, it came down to 3 of us and they had to call it for the night due to noise restrictions but I won $100 cash and a trophy and a little sticker to put on my FASTiva!!!! I was upset we couldn't finish but more so due to the fact that NO other Festy's were there or Escort's or Taurus's or Contour's or Aspire's, NOT A 1!

    Well here are the pix:

Fastest time slip I have on street tires... Dialed in a 16.0

And finally my new clutch Spec Stage 2!!

    Enjoy! -Kyle 8)

Yeah because he had to sit there for almost 5 sec I think he had ants in his pants!! But if you also look at it this way, my RT was .243 (not great) but was only off my dial in .010 so IF he had a perfect RT of .000 he still would have lost the race. .253 < .343 :-) Awe poor mustangs, getting beat by a lowly Festiva 8-)

Went again last night (11/16) ran with a 35 wet shot... Pretty good results, best run was a 15.442 @ 87 mph. Only had 2 runs... American muscle cars kept breaking.

                    BEST VIDEO:

                    WORST TIME SLIP:

Will be going back either next season or next week depeding if I can get this fuel leak figured out. Going to try the 50 shot next time around!! :-)

P.S. I also was able to weigh my car on the return lane at the track (much more accurate than the recycling yard I have been using) with me in the car it weighed 1890 lbs. And I am about ~160lbs so 1730 lbs w/o driver. -Kyle
