But when you have an engine swap it no longer is in the same league. If yours was the stock block minor bolt on's then maybe, but when your car is much faster than a metro I don't consider this a race.. Should I post up my wins against V6 Mustangs or are they not our arch nemisis so it's not worth posting? -Kyle
When you chase an unknown car down on the highway you dont know what they have just like they dont know what you have. For all you know that Geo has a 3b rotory w/rwd.
A win is a win.
Lets see those Festiva smokin a Mustang vid's.
Ill post some of me smokin bicycles because there my arch nemisis.
aren't geo's 1.0 3 cylinders? i'm not surprised u took it, my friend had one and he chopped the back off of it to make it into a half-truck thing, you could holder and it would only do 140, on a good flat stretch.
Proud owner of 92L, 350KM, Home made muffler, sounds like a truck! 16 years without replacement of anything but filters! 5spd EFI, Anyone else's shifter look like its from a quarter-ton?
is this thread still going? and i beat another geo if anyone care, but this time its was a blowout. a geo with rims and exhaust just like the other one, but slower.
hey now the geo and the festiva did compete for americas cheapest car for a few yrs.. and look at what hold up better . the festiva by a long shot. i know metors gor for a while... but i have yet to see one go 500k miles on stock motor and trans. we have a member on here who has done it with a festiva. so congrats on the win. i raced a metro one in my festiva i won to. but it wasnt fair... i had b6t....lol

I smoked a metro from a light a couple months ago in my festy! Yay stock carbed B3, ha. Of course, I weigh 130 lbs and the guy in the metro was almost the size of the car, ha
Oh yea, and I beat an 03 cobra convertible, 04 supercharged saleen, C5 vette and got beat by a T/A on spray at the track.....but this was all in my old cheap fox body mustang, ha.....and when the T/A beat me, I broke my tranny....don't think I would have beat him anyway, but I lifted the left front tire off the ground!
A Honda fit. The driver had a fit when he tried to beat me across an intersection this past weekend. No match for a good running festy. Neither is a Prius.
Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.
