so as i was passing the guy in second i could hear him bouncing off the rev limiter. then i slowed down so we could line up again, he passes me and does a california stop at the sign and just kinda ran away. i guess that hideous wing and blue light up wiper squirters dont make a car any faster

Hey I out ran a Prius last week. I pulled him about 2 good car lengths before I let off. :-)

Then a Corolla pulled up and he pulled me by 3 car lengths. :-(

      Mike

      P.S.
I honestly think that's the first time in years anyone has out ran me. I can't tell you how many cars I out ran during the 6 years I owned a 427 Cobra (FFR). One Viper, one Zo6, a half dozen C5's, too many Mushtangs to count. 400 hp and 1900 pounds is bad news.

        What kind of car?

        1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
        1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

3rd gen didn't start untill 2000. I have a 99 GS non-turbo. Greddy header/megan exhaust, neon 3.55 trans swap, AEM intake. Is your car swapped/modded??

Factory Five Racing is based in my hometown. I see so many cobras that they don't even impress me anymore.

Out ran a Prius? A moped could stomp one of those slow as crap things.

ive got a bp and g trans with 2.5 exhaust and a magnaflow muffler. ive advanced the timing and run supreme always. when i swapped everything out i used a probe V6 clutch disc with the bp plate. it pulls good. and gutted interior with two seats and a dash only.

ok check wikipedia and it was a 2nd gen.

hey, be nice to the 4.0 rangers.... just cuz ford decided to top em out at 100... once you get around that, theres alot more pedal to push down... and i know for a fact my ranger owns most compacts...
