  • Me and a Geo

Ok so I was taking off from my uncle's house, he was going to follow me, I had my stock 5spd Festiva, and he had a stock 3cyl 5spd Metro and first I was driving just as normal as could be, but then he decided to pass me, and I was like no way am I going to let a Geo pass me, so I down shifted into 4th gear and took off as fast as the little car could go, I had the car up to 80mph, and all I could do was laugh :laughing6: when I saw the little headlights in the mirror.

Take it from me (owning more metros than should be humanly allowed) they are little pipsters! A good running 3/5 can keep up with a festy no problem, only lacking in towing power. Over-all, I still claim the Festiva is a better vehicle. More resistent to rust, almost the same MPG (with another cyl.?!) sturdier, smoother...better looking!...

      Because....45 MPG.

Whats a 3/5? and no way the metro ever kept up with the festiva. I had one that ran great and it didn't touch a great running festiva.
        it's about 10 seconds vs 13 seconds 0-60.

3/5 = 3 cylinders, 5 speeds... like my Daihatsu 1.0L (which BTW has almost the same HP as a festy 1.3L) we'll see how it runs soon, but I know it can't keep up with the BP swap (but the IRS and larger tires might help out in the twistys :lol
          No festiva for me ATM...
