  • took my festiva down the 1/4....

and i was NOT the slowest one there i was the 2nd slowest lol... the only time that was slower than mine was a honda delsol and it ran a 20.06 lol... here are my time slips:

    my set up is:
stock b3 with 411,xxx kms on it.... lol
    home made header
    intake
    high flow cat
    muffler delete pipe
    msd plug wires
    aspire swap
    195/60/14 tires

i also took out the back and passenger seat along with the spare tire.

i dont think you can see the slips in the pics (are they too small?) so ill type out some of the good stuff

    my first time was: 19.926@67.23mph
    my last run was 19.197@68.85mph
the last 4 runs i did i was getting in the grove and then they shut down the track my best r/t was: .225 and my best 60 foot time was: 2.656

i think i did good for what this car is lol... i also had a junk O2 sensor so it was dumping in WAY to much fuel, every time i shifted it would back fire and my mpg's are junk....

what do you think? did i do good?

BTW the ONLY reason i went is just to see what it will do before i do my motor swap... now people have seen zippy and the 19 sec runs it can do, next week end im out there i will have the b6t and be running 13's

ill try to get some better copies of those slips then....

and i ment 13 sec not 13 inch rims lol... but i may throw on my 13" slicks for a better time... but they may be to small, but then ill throw on my 14" ones and be at the same tire size i was running today lol...

i wish i had my b6t today... i was driving home and this bmw pulls op beside me on the freeway and is wanting to race... i think i could have taken him if i had a b6t lol...

BTW im working on editing the vids i took... i couldnt hit the rec button on the cam when i was about to go so i had to do it in staging... i dont feel like up-loading a bunch of junk and i dont think people want to watch a bunch of junk lol...

Although the times look slow, in relationship to the speeds you ran, you car did all right.

Those times & speeds are almost exactly what my b3 ran. My best run with it was 19.013 @ 70.58 mph. Best run so far with all listed in my post was 14.777. I plan on hitting 13's the next time at the track.

Your tires have to be killing your acceleration, theyre 10% taller than stock. Over 2 inches.

I ran the time in my sig full weight, including spare.

Drop the 14's and get a lighter wheel/tire combo. You could break into the 18's stock with 400k

ya one of the runs i did i cooked my clutch... then the next run it got better and the one after that it was great thats right, my car repairs it self lol.... it depends on when i get my motor swap home but if i get it home and in my shop ready to swap in if/when i blow up the b3 ill bring it back to the track with a good O2 sensor, 13" rims and smaller tires (maby slicks) and best of all ill stick a 50 shot on it.... then i think ill be in the high 17's.... if i dont blow up lol.....

my green festiva ran a 18.7 with the B3, that was with stock tires on the front, and i think i had my 15's on the rear with 195/50's, i put the stock tires on the front cause they were slighty shorter

Boo for posting a slow time! Where's the vid or slip of you beating my B6 SOHC's 14.5? I'm still here waiting! With 1 extra cam AND a turbo, I hope you can beat it next time out but I'm skeptical with that time! :-P -Kyle
