has any one tried just taking off in 2nd? i was trying the other day on a wet road and it just spun the tires... do you think a g series clutch 6 puck sprung ceramic can handle it on dry pavement?

we tried leaving in 2nd gear and the slicks spun anyways..at first 3k to 4k rpms were tops.cause we were scare of breaking the tranny..my friend mike said to go over 5k and it will hook better.we tried this and it does...
i have a stage one act clutch and have never spun on any gear...my car made about 175 hp.
it was not running right the day i dynoed.i had some issues corrected.it should not be over 200 hp thoug.ur clutch should take it.
