geez i am really going to push this d series. I am currently debating spending a bunch of money on a air/water IC setup or buying bigger injectors and a a1000 and running alcohol. I think the chargepipe situation will dictate that as its going to be a front facing turbo setup.

the Capri swap does not take all kind of parts....I know something has to be changed but so does the Aspire swap ....Arty is running it with no issues and it keeps the stock bolt pattern....but you do have to run 14" rims or better I believe.

i am going to run the festiva brakes to start and i will have a chute for extra insurance in case they decide to you know not agree with my demands

That sway bar would that work ok for a street car? Really liking it as well, but my cars will see the street allot more than a track.

yeah they work great on EF civics and they have the most similar suspension setup to these with just one lower control arm.

Those aren't sway bars... they're traction bars. I personally wouldn't run them on the street, but that's just me. The only way I'd run them would be with some lateral bracing either at the control arms or at the front. It's fine for drag racing... you don't worry about turning.

why would you need lateral bracing? the lower control arm keeps the wheel from going inside and out the tie rod keeps it straight and the link keeps it from going forward and back. its still maing a triangle your just replacing the weak and flimsy setup with something designed for power. If it doesnt provide what you need modify a honda swaybar for the car as they go behind the suspension and not in front. I would run this on the street all day evey day.

Can all ways try it if don't like it take it off and put stock back on. Looks like it would work fine. To me looks like just taking the sway bar and making it adjustable and a more square design instead of a half oval and non adjustable(imo). So i think would be fine but i am no expert and looked like something cool to try that why i asked.

i ran traction bars,stiff urethane bushings and lowering springs with a pretty high rate on a STREET srt4. it def reduces wheel hop,and turning inst compromised all that much. the fact we cant fit decent sized tires is prob the most hindering partwhen it comes to turning.
id rock a set of traction bars every day if they made them for festivas.

DrDseries, I too started a fastest festiva build using a D series. But during my build my buddy helping my passed away, the Fabricator I had helping lost his shop, and I lost my job, then had to put it on the back burner for a while, lost interest, bought a CRX, put the setup in it.

Its not hard to make a Festiva go 10's.

What is hard is making a festiva go 10's with Mazda parts lol.
