This should be a fun section, there are lots of festiva that are going fast now..
lets keep it safe though, if your racing go to a track or private roads....I'll name some kills i remember..

1. evo 8 with bolt ons, this was when I first got mextiva out of the shop and could not hold on racing.we only went from secont to third so it was safe.no overspeeding..it was on the 175-50-13 tires.

2.evo mr,this was family owned and was stock it was on a roll from second to 4th on a closed road..same tires.

3.audi s4, the guy had his girlfriend with him, we went like 3 times and he couldnt believe it..gave me the thumbs up for having something diferent...this was on the 195-45-15 rims.

4.lt1 camaro with lots of bolt ons,about 3 times on a roll.

5.subaru sti in the quarter mile from the hole with 20x8x14 slick.

6.mustang rouch supercharged again in the quarter mile.slicks.

7. m 300 the newer ones.quarter and slicks.

8.nissan maxima 2002 with lots of bolt ons,it runs low 13's from a roll.

9.dsm awd. twice from the hole,beat him both times. on the 15'' rims.

10. chevy corvette on the highway, I blew my head gasket on this one,i got him though.200 dollars later i had a used engine in the car so it was worth it..i have more but cant remember.

We should be doing lots of racing at the track so I will be adding to my kill list.

Everything i have is listed on my cardomain...let me see if i can remember the list.
B6t-G25mr swap,Stage 1 act clutch,atp blow off valve,small fmic from blacktrax including piping,2-4'' exhaust system with a cutout,not cat,borla muffler,reich racing ecu good for 16psi,20x8x14 slick,one step colder psark plugs,104 sunoco racing fuel..stock brakes and suspencion.back and passenger seats were off..I think thats it.


We have lots of guys racing at the track, so we can name track kills only...we can also include videos and time slips to prove this....mods can delete streetracing coments?
I'm sure something can be worked out, this would make a fun thread imo.....I know street racing is bad thats why we go racing at the track when we can.

what pissed me off is the last time i was at the track, i was racing a new caliber SRT and was beating him until my trans broke

really? this is the same logic that says fast music and video games make children violent.... people who don't already race on the street aren't gonna start if there is a thread on said racing... as for those who may once in awhile drop gears and run em there is no reason you cant share your stories with others.

i cant speak for any one else but in my group of close friends, cars are our lives...we dont do drugs or drink or steal or hurt any one... in the city i grew up in it was concidered ok to get drunk or smoke/sell weed. some of us chose a different drug... its called pride... its called craftsmanship... its called innovation... the desire to build your own ride to how ever you thought was the best way to get your desired results accomplished... whether it be drifing, mini trucks, 4X4's, racing... and nothing furthers innovation and to expect more form yourself like the drive of friendly competition.

those who demonize street racing dont look at the REALISTIC alternatives in habits and in recreation... it is so terrible that street racing kills maybe 300(if that) people a year... compare that to any other habit and id say its on the safer side... im not saying its ok to go out in rush hour traffic and weave in and out at 100mph but how is racing on an empty stretch of road more dangerous than the 17 year old girl in daddies excursion on her cell on the freeway, or the person that changes lanes without looking, or that idiot(i know everyone has seen at least one) reading a book while driving down the interstate. or how about that jerk that doest stop at stop signs in a neighborhood full of little kids...

when it comes down to it street racing is so heavily enforced by cops for the same reason smog laws are so strict...$$$$$.... the all mighty dollar... not because of the public danger...traffic violations are an easy revenue source for most cities... in fact in citrus heights CA traffic tickets are the main source of city revenue... the actual "welcome to citrus heights sign" is a motorcycle cop with a radar gun in hand saying welcome to citrus heights where traffic laws are strictly enforced....

Thanks, I've fixed the trans already so it's ready for more abuse once I finish my turbo build :lol:

And as far street racing, every now and then I will do some streetlight racing but I never go to dangerous speeds, just enough to know who would win

if you wanna get technical anything over 65mph is dangerous in a festiva... thats why they came with b3's...and have the entire force of the car pushing on the sway bar on acceleration...

65mph at 2600rpm vs wound up and boosting ready to pop into the next gear is a lot different. However I don't mind typed out stories street or track. If its a video, please don't have a lil girl on her hello kitty bike coming in an out of frame during the 'event'. That sorta stuff is the upsetting stuff and will give you no support.
