So I was at haste's house talking to him about selling his festy. He had it for a short time and preferred his 90 prizm. We started taking pros and cons. I brought up the hatchback point. He agreed it's better than a sedan but then pointed to his Mazda 3 wagon and said he could use that. Then I pointed it out gas mileage. He said it's only a 2 mpg difference. 38 in the festy (it was a 4 speed at the time) 36 in the prizm. I agreed that was a negligible difference. Then he said "but the geo is way faster" I said "whatever! The festy is 1.3 liters 8 valves and lighter. The prizm is 1.6 liters 8 valves and heavier." he said "no it's 16 valves" I said "oh.... Ok.... Maybe then." he said "wanna find out?" it was on! He lives in the country. He had a deserted dead in road near by. We agreed I toot the horn 3 times and we hammer on 3. We got a good clean start. I got him by a half a car in first and over a car in 2nd. We ran out of road after that. He would have probably pulled mr in third. . He flipped me the bird after I got him! just joking of course. Festiva fighting out of it's weight class FTW!!!

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I've always run like this on the street. Just happen to have two good stories right now. I topped out all of my cars and motorcycles until just a few years ago. Now I rarely run over 100. I hit 90 in the new 90LX the other day. :twisted:youtube.com/neanderpaul 88 festiva LX w/BP G25 MR 5 speed waiting for wiring- 93 Festiva GL auto w/ air, waiting for B6t/G4A-HL - 98 Nissan Quest - 02 Mazda protege 5 wife's DD
