Just thought I would add a kill story for the Phostiva that I bought last month. Phostiva is the car that was built for Grassroots 2009 motorsports challenge.After changing hands a few times it has been given a full exhaust making it street legal.
I drove from Texas to Kansas city Mo for it.When I bought it, it had a fuel issue that got progressively worse till the car wouldn't even start.It did make it home before that point though.
Well I just got it inspected a couple weeks ago and have been wanting to see what it is capable of.
So today after watching this knuckle head in a 2003 Harley Davidson (supercharged) Truck launch from one light to another for several lights.........
I staged right beside him. He asked me if my car was turbo'd. I told him Yeah!
The light goes green and we roll out easy.Then I hear it, the Super charger whinning. So I nail it, still in first. I break traction through 1st, 2nd, chirp 3rd and bye bye.
At the next light he was shocked and so was I. He said my car pulled really hard and took his loss well. I was stoked!
This happened in Mexico of course.
