  • 13 second passes!

I had time to upload some more videos of the Festiva last night,This passes are all granny shifting do to a shifter bushing going out of place, and that 13.3 was missing second gear same cause (bad bushing).I think their are worth posting though. We want to go 11's soon.My brother and I are thinking that a 35 shot and bigger slick's should do it.I'm in the market for a nos kit does anyone from here have a used kit or know were to get a new for a fair price?
I would also like to hear if you guys think its possible or would we need more things than just nos and bigger slicks?

    Thank you!

Man I love it! Runnin 13's, thats great. Do some mods you might be able to get her in the 12's. Couldnt see the traction with the player I had, hows the traction? I wanna see more, and wanna see Festy's waste other cars at the drags. Way to go though, thanks for sharing. I hope to get me some clips up once my car is back together of me at the drags.

Every car I have owned has had a turbo in it, until I bought this latest festiva.. I plan to fix that though.

                traction

                cool man
for more traction use a stiffer set of rear springs
put all you can in front of the front wheel....
use a garden tractor battery (15$ at walmart)

                low 12 in a short time....cool

                good luck

eh, not really.... don't get me wrong, its a good time, and faster than 90% of cars on the road, but when you're at the track, a 13 still doesn't feel all that fast.... I know, my beetle's been running 13's for a while now, and while its cool, and quick, its not "faster than hell" lol..

A 13 second car isnt that fast?!?!?!! Thats really fast.
And we are talking about a FORD FESTIVA, a 13 second festiva is like amazing! and to think thats faster than a Subaru STI and they cost 30 grand and a festy that has 3,000 in it runs faster. Youre not giving a daily driven 13 second car enough credit.

dude, i HAVE a 13 second daily driver... its not THAT fast. We're talking degrees of fast here, and comparing it to other times seen at the track.... 13's for a festy are impressive to most, but mex has already done 12's, and we've already established that once the B6T is in its not all that much of a challenge to run 13's. I'm not saying that 13's are slow, but you make it sound like "OMG thats so super duper incredibly fast", and its not. Its quick.
