setting up a race this weekend with vid

ill be racing a friend this weekend . it will be a 2nd gear roll on highway he has a silverado d max with alittle work done and its just for fun but we will be getting some go pro vid. hopefully it goes well for me and im not completely imbarrased. any predictions?

A 1st gear start for him would give you a great advantage. the Alison trans has a slow first gear, then 2nd starts to go pretty good. It may be close. Good luck, do us proud.

I agree. Thread should be deleted. Most forums do not allow " street racing " stories and I think this site should be one of them.

Don't think of it as a bad thing; just a lot of people that care, Bobbyspider. Plus, it's harder to jump all over someone if they've already done it. However, had they posted a video where they wrecked, that would have pretty much ended any support for that particular pastime.

just move to the arena... so i can respond in the manner where i can use colorful adjectives... ive always wondered what the world would look like staring down from my high horse and ive always been one to defend the asinine attacks on street racing for years... "its dangerous" is being played out too much... especially in these times where our government can lock you up for any reason they see fit for as long as they want or the fact that we ave messed our environment up to the point where the water and air gives us cancer.
