Racing in rain is f$#&g tough! It was raining both days during the Autobahn Fall race.

On Saturday, a BMW has hit us in the rear wheel - their car is now a bit shorter, but we did not realize our rear spindle was bent till Sunday morning. I had a spare - but it was the wrong side part, so the wheel nut is now welded to the spindle, just in case...

After fixing the wheel on Sunday, we have 'met' with a spinning Golf. This has shortened the Festiva just a hair, but at least this @$@ Golf does not have rear suspension any more... They were hitting people the whole weekend... It was a zoo on drugs at the track this time.

We were so close to get 2nd in our class, but the hard lines closer to the rear wheels had a different plan.

How did the car fair this time around... any failures? Looks like it held up well.

It did fail after 13 hours - the hard brake line of the passenger rear wheel said it had enough of all that. For the next race, we are redoing the brake lines completely. Since this means taking the engine out, we will also swap the engine & tranny, Challenge now is to find this tranny...
