  • went to the track today

Hi guys just wanted share my track time , it was my first time with the festiva and a stick. There not the best times but its a start, first pass was all motor 15.77 1/4 mile r/t was .027 , second was15.38 with a 50 shot of nos r/t was .079, third pass 50 shot 15.01 r/t was .065 and the last pass was 15.04 r/t was .092. All passes were made with a very easy launch, I still have a aspire transmission. As for the nos I turned it on after I hit second. I will try and post my slip, if I can learn how to use this tablet.

Stock clutch? I know my e-series with a stage 1 spec clutch didn't care for my 50shot lol and really hated my 100shot lol.

Should be faster. Escort gt's were high 15's from the factory I think.

My 60 foot times are really slow , so I would think there is some improvment there. That and I need to move the arming switch for the nos, its on the left side of the steering wheel.

Your RT's could be some better but you need to remember your running a no box car-- no electronics-- no trans brake-- so don't beat yourself up to bad, if you want better RT's roll in shallow, brings the R's up and leave at the flash of the last amber bulb and adjust from there. The .023 is very good for a foot brake car, keep practicing it will come to you. Good luck
