My car or truck has more MPH than that in the 1/4 ?
It had to be a pretty quick car like a Pro Stock, or a Fastest street shootout car to run that ET ,as it coasted thru the lights or broke to have that low MPH.

          No, I got it !!!
A Festiva dropped out of an airplane !
111 mph, that sounds about right for the Terminal Velocity of a Festiva.
          Yea, that's it !

7.96 in the 1/8 th would only bring high 80's or maybe 90 mph

                no car can do that.

                that's the answer.

driving 7.96 s @ 111.6 mph wont even get you over the distance of a quartermile. still some feet missing.

Sure you could it would take a fast car that either broke or was to brake hard at the lights to give you the low mph .
I have seen a fuel car break many times at 1/2 track still trip the lights in the high 5's or low 6's and mph was just over 100 mph in a 1/4 mile .
I see what you are saying , under full throttle with no problems ,No those numbers don't jive

What if it topped out of its gears? I don't know that seems like a long time to drive 111 if that's all the car had.

I think the terminal velocity of a festiva is 121. Mazda put that there as a warning not a car model number.

That last comment is the best! Becareful though I got my Tracer (323) to go over 121 and got a big ticket and 17 days in jail to prove it!

no it's in Utah they will throw anyone in jail just for fun. I had a friend that did jail time because he was driving home 45 minutes after his lisence had expired. I mean come on officer he's going home at 12:45 and you just happen to pull this guy over give him a break.

I have heard the same thing about Utah!

In Texas, they shoot first, and ask questions later. I have actually seen a Trooper (department of Public Safetly...lol) in Texas shoot the tires out of an evading car, in heavy traffic... lol.. first hand, in the 80's
