Not a good weekend for us only being able to do 2 stages, but we did get a mid-pack time of 1:12 on our super special stage. Next time I'm going to get him on the pedal more, but not bad.http://vid1167.photobucket.com/album...psib8wgxku.mp4

Whole weekend went like this... Lugs loosened after 100 miles and fell off after stage 2 ending our rally that day. Day 2 G-Series spit out our half shaft after 1/4 mile because we didn't have it bracketed, bracketed it up just in time for the snow to come and basically cancel the rally for a couple reasons.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. It sounds like one thing after another. We all have those weekends. Keep refining that car and it'll all come together. At least you found some weak spots that you can work on.

Yeah we've got a plan. I'd like to re-construct the dashboard we have into something more practical for racing, including centering (and fixing since only water temp, and oil pressure work) the guages and the fuse blocks. Using thicker wiring for pieces of the harness which are under stress (wires are getting hot). full bushing and boots replacement with a lube job. Fixing my Gah Dam valve cover oil leak. And putting a heater in...

Kyle, this might be a good time to find out if the Aspire heater core will fit into a Festiva. There have been a few members asking this question lately, and I don't think anybody has tried it yet? The Aspire has better heat than the Festys

I mean I don't doubt it will fit in my car... but that'll be because I took the dashboard and entire interior out, so I don't think it'll be what you're looking for

Sorry to hear about your bad luck- On a lighter note, sounds funny to hear that they cancelled a RALLY Race due too snow. I thought thats what makes us better than On Road folks.

It wasn't so much that they cancelled the rally due to the snow. It was more like, because of the snow we had no emergency response vehicles or stage marshals able to attend which led to the stage cancellations.

Well that sucks did they issue the Racers refunds?

Unfortunately no. The rulebook states, if you come out of time control that day, you forfeit any refunds, any stage cancellations and such are labeled as Force Majour, or "you're sh-- out of luck"
