  • b6 n/a times?

just curious what kind of times people are running with the single cam b6 swap.

it seems like the power to weight should put it close to (if not in) the 14's... perhaps i'm aiming a little high (err low)??

Def. NOT 14's maybe 16's I'm not sure what my car runs, it's quick but not fast by any means, 1st and 2nd I think I would give alot of ppl some problems but I think the gearing gets worse in the upper gears... -Kyle. (BTW I have a B6 SOHC EFI Festy)

That's what I was thinking when I got mine done, 16.5-16.80 probably. That isn't fast but it puts the car right in stock Civic territory. Hell that is as fast as all of the automatic late 80's Firebirds and Mustangs were stock.

          time

i used a g-tech...my bp turbo t-3 intercooled automatic aspire : 13.9 at 110 on normal conditions, 13.6 at 112 if good traction...around 300hp under the hood! at 7 psi i ran 14.6 at 102 mph now i run at 15-16 psi...and waiting for a 45 gal of good fuel to push engine at 18-20 psi

            16's? are you guys serious?

when simon first swapped his b6 in he was running the wrong injectors and the car wasn't running right and he stayed side by side with my cavalier which is a mid 15 second car...

oh well... doesn't really matter anyways... plans have changed to a bp swap.

Racing from a roll does not translate into results at a dragstrip. Simon was still on airbags when he went to the track, which probably was working nightmares on traction and weight transfer, and beyond that i believe it was his first time drag racing, and i have yet to meet anyone who drove perfectly their first time out. Plus he was rocking god knows how many pounds of speakers, an air compressor, and a tank. With the right suspension setup, good tires, and very good driving a stock B6 could probably do low 15's if it was devoid of most excess weight.

Eh I'll find out when I get home 8) I'm hoping for a very low 16 high 15. I would be astonished if I saw a 15 in stock form... -Kyle

                        I still don't think they'll EVER see 14's unless it's heavily modded.
