I'd like to hear the specs too... I'm a member on another board and the one guy there keeps calling me "La Zapatista" because of someone that roams his town with a Festiva and that logo on it... Your Festarossa reminded me of it!

What is REALLY cool, is that there is NOONE in CM at my autocross... hmmm, trophies every week? Nah, that's no fun, without even working at it.

I am really really glad to hear you say it's just a B6.. I personally think a turbo might even hold you back (spooling up?) cause one of the strengths of running a stout nonturbo is that the power is immediate, right when you need it in autocross.

I am a novice (a 45 year old beginner...lol) at auto cross, I have been a few faster cars, but have yet to run on my slicks.... July 8th that is coming quick...

KUDOS on doing so well, I might even run C mod myself, since I am in reality illegal in EP, which is where I am running now...

THANKS FOR THE SHARE welcome to the site, and keep reporting!!!

After doing a bit of reading in the SCCA rule book, I seem to find that the Festiva would be in D mod, or even E mod? and require a roll bar? Am I missing something?? Reynard open wheels in my club run in C mod, but rarely show up... when they DO show up, they rule the course, by at least 2 seconds...

I am very tempted to run D modified, but I am afraid that I would have to have a roll bar to be completely legal..

                            any thoughts?

the car weighs next to nothing.. im a skinny 17 year old and can lift the rear end clear off the ground..

i have concidered a turbo swap, i have a b6T sitting in my garage waiting to get into a road racing festiva,
and that is my next project

c mod is where the festiva runs.. its under 2L and is a non turbo.. im pretty sure the b6T will run c mod to..
they bump up displacment when its turboed, i think they bump it up 0.2L or somthing...

the festiva is definatly the best handling FWD out there... its light responsive and NO civic can catch it. (b18, b16 ect ect)

its wide yet really small so you can have enough stability to whip it around corners but still
not have a huge rear... end to worry about clipping pylons..

and the rear end is so light it just manuvers around cones like NOTHING.. it follows the front end, and by taking out the rear bumper..
you eliminate ALL understeer (from wut i found)

slicks do make a huge difference on the car too.. slicks are usually smaller making your second gear shorter so you can
be in the power band even longer
