There is no replacement for displacement, except for the turbo in my basement.

My rule book says that C mod is NON-production race cars, and D and E are production and GT autos.... go figure... lol.

Do you know the actual weight of your Festy? mine is 1650
Have had 6 Festys... and counting...

Yeah, I just checked with a national advisor, and he agrees, the Festy with a B6 swap is indeed a D modified car. C mod is just for open wheel Formula Fords, Reynards, and that type of non-production race car.

Doesn't really matter though... cause it doesn't seem that there are any true C-mods in your club anyway.. If I raced C-Mod, I would have to race a Reynard open wheel mini-indy style car, weighs about 900 pounds and has about 150 horse... he always takes FTD when he shows up..

I am NOT a trophy hunter, but still, I think I will switch to D-MOD... just because it is the correct class.

Take a look at the Solo rulebook, it's pretty clear on the difference between C and D modified.

The advisor also stated that since it's a closed, production car, for SOLO II, rollbars are not required, but if one IS installed, it has to pass GCR specs... go figure...

the 323 shocks fit right in... no problems...the brake hose line doesnt fit into the holder it has on the shock but who really cares mines just hanging loose...

and yah their amazing.. when your cornering and u mean business.. the 323 shocks just are the cherry on the iceing compared to the gr2's... .

mmmmmm, might have to try that. These gr2's and FMS springs are NOT worth a flip for autox... just friggin horrible with slicks, way too soft. Fine for the street, but not for the track (parking lot... lol)

                    yup good idea..

u loose all ur advantage in a festiva without hard suspension.

get hard springs... like vw golf ones, their like 120$ but best investment ive made...
