  • Feedback about FOTM

i'm just looking for some feedback on how things have been going since i've taken over FOTM, maybe some ideas to try and improve FOTM etc. for me to try and get some more insight to make it all around better

    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I think you've done a good job with it. Having the owner write up his own car and include the story is excellent. I've enjoyed reading about the unique events surrounding each Festiva (and its owner) that has entered.

^^we've had some great stories! and hopefully many more to come!

how did everyone like voting for the winner as compared to privately judging?

I think voting for who you think has the best FOTM is the better way to go, that way everyone has a say in who wins! You are doing a fine job I might add.

You get an atta boy, Kid. A fine job. And I think the members voting is a good way to go. That was how I did it when I briefly moderated the FOTM section. And I do agree with you about cars only being nominated by their owners. :thumbleft: :thumbright:

Voting is more fair, fun, and will draw more members in to paticipate. It's interactive! I'm a geek.

Paul - you got a good point with it being interactive, it did seem to be easier to let the people vote, so i guess thats how i'll do it from now on

I would like to see some "theme" Festiva of the month contests. Like July only red white or blue could enter. Green ones in March for St Patty's day.

^^ya i would have taken your suggestion for march if we didn't already have a red festiva entry

i do like the red, white and blue for july, and since Canada day is July 1st, the red and white works for that as well

December could be red and green only

October could be Orange and black

i'm sure i'll figure it out as i go but suggestions along the way are always helpful
