where my festiva obsession began... so my friend bought his first festy 4 years ago...at first i did not like the car cause well...it was slow...like really slow... so one day he decided to bp swap it... i built the the front mount and did the wiring as well as some general fab work. we got it running and on that first test drive around the block taking 4 hours and 200 or so miles i fell in love. so last year when my same freind and now roommate came across a b6t for dirt cheap i got excited. i had just blown my second d15 motor(rod out the block) so i was in need of a car to get to and from work and since work was slow i could work out the little bugs and make minor repairs while i borrowed it...but after a week of driving it money changed hands and i had my very first festy!!! the car was bought swapped b6t with a stock everything and tons of problems. the first time at the track i ran a 15.2 i was crushed... when checking for reasons for such pitiful times i found the guy had the intake AND exhaust cams 3 teeth off! during this i also made a mandral(sp?) bent 2.5" turbo back exhaust with high flow cat and cherry bomb muffler...with my new found power i found stock brakes were horrible... so on with the aspire brakes... and it was way too tall so on lowering springs it went... it lasted a month or so running 14.2's with a slipping clutch... but since the trans was out any ways the g25mr went on... along with a new capri pressure plate an 1.8V6 mx3 disc... with everything out already i also used this time to install my mitsu sterion intercooler...then it was to a 13.8... then i replaced the stock intake with a 2.5" from vaf to the turbo with the stock air box and also replaced the "funnel" intake with 2.5" pipe... 13.7 @ 14 psi... i found the stock turbo does not like 14psi when you dive a car like you stole it... so 4 turbos later(the one that came on the car, the one off the parts car and 2 as a gift from a local turbo shop) i decided i wanted more. so i built an exhaust manifold out of a old miata header and fitted a 14b tdo5 to it and connected it to my 2.5" exhaust with a custom down pipe i also built. bigger turbo needed bigger intake so i put a 3" adaper on the vaf to a 90* and an ams oil filter with a built in velocity stack in the drivers fender well, as well as 3" to the turbo ending in a velocity stack that goes straight into the inlet, more intake meant more fuel is needed so i put 330cc ford probe GT 2.2T injectors in, i aslo added a 1990 civic sir mid wing to my hatch as well as modified camery/maxima shocks to my suspension, honda prelude seats, rear mounted battery and some 13" enkei wheels. im planning on putting some 16" wheels that i just bought on it very soon, some kind of fuel management system maybe a standalone, as well as cleaning up some of the engine wiring and hose routing to make it a bit more appealing under the hood.

everyone loves my car... i try to race everybody... so far i have beaten:
    C6 corvette
    a few C5 corvettes
    tons of mustangs
have only lost to one honda(my friends h2b swapped hatch low 13sec car)
    sti's
    evo's
BMW's get really mad when i stomp them
audi's S4's get just about as mad as the BMW guys
ive tried to race people that refuse cause the have "hred of my car and dont wanna lose" im very happy about that... and i think im still in the top 10 fastest festiva's on this forum

so now on with the pics!!!!

the pictures and the wing possible because of this guy

his 90 civic hatch went off a cliff on 10/23/09(he is doin fine now)... so i got my true JDM civic SiR wing off his car... his camera was also in the car when ihe crashed... i found it last weekend still at the bottom of the cliff under the bolder he hit(i was looking for parts for his gsxr600 that were in the car on that night and are still missing)

i took the side moulding off and finnished my top wing...

            My Festy!

Well Here I go. I finally got some pictures of my Festy!
I guess I will start back when I first got my license. I started out driving a 1997 Mercury Mountaineer V8 5.0 It wasn't my ideal choice but my dad wanted me to have a safe vehicle since I drove my younger brother where he needed to go. So I kept my mountaineer until I was in college then sold it because I was sick of 15MPG and I couldn't afford to come home haha. I ended up selling it for almost 3,000 which was awesome but I ended up giving about 2,500 of it to my dad because he is a realtor (that should explain everything ha) So I got a 1996 plymouth neon with 96,000 miles for 500 bucks. It got the job done and got me to work and back. I couldn't afford to fix the things it needed so I fixed what I could and sold it for 700 6 months later. So I now had 700 bucks and I wasn't really looking for a car. I always checked craigslist for cheap cars though. So one day I saw a festiva drive by and I knew that was my next car. I started researching like crazy. Found this site and knew I wanted a Festiva. So I started searching. I wanted one that didn't need much and for cheap. I eventually found my Festiva. I bought it 3 months ago in Sydney Ohio for $700. Drove it 3 hours home and it cost me less than 10 dollars.

I've always wanted a festiva and now I have one! My girlfriend was ticked because I didn't tell her I got it. Now she loves it. All my friends love it. I've never done a motor swap but I hope that this will be my first. But I can't bring myself to pull out a 93,000 mile stock motor. It's to new!

            So here are the facts!
            1991 L model
            93,000 miles!
            4 speed manual

Here is what I've done. I'm poor so I haven't done to much yet but I can't wait for the summer to get some money and fix her up.

            I got new seats
            New stereo/speakers
            Put in escort dome light
            Cleaned it 100 times
            Repainted all the interior panels
Put 13's on with four brand new tires
Replaced breaks (When I bought it the guy put a nail in the line since one break pad was toast so I only had the one break)
            and a tune up

            Here are the pictures!

I don't have any before pictures but basically this car was just dirty all the carpet was just dirt brown. The seats were all ripped up and it was a stock stereo with two blown computer speakers sitting in the back seat.

and here are the panels before I painted them

Well there it is! My Festy. Sorry the images aren't the best I used my cell phone.
