Ok here comes the competition(lol) Well as some of you know I got out of the tiva game a year and a half ago and well didnt make it long before I bought tiva number 7 and well I decided that it need to much work to get going so I bought a 93 tiva shortly after that tiva number 8. I found this green 93 on craigslist for the high price of 700 o.b.o and well it was interested in it but the price was to much. I went to look at it 2 days later and well I wasn't sold on it tore up interior, shot water pump, bad axels, and no windsheild wipers assembly what so ever. I was talking to the owner and I told him i wouldn't give him anymore then 400 for it. HE said he would only take 500 at the lowest and he would have his friend do the water pump. I told him 400 the way it sits. Well 2 days later I had it and took it to my sister's house where the fun began. I started making 2 festiva's into one. Started with interior by swaping steering wheels and put the center console in the green one and alos installed my dash clock. I began to tear down the red one knowing and thinking which parts should i use on the green one. I then took about the next 2 weeks and swap doors fender another hatch I had and the suspension and aspire brake swap. After doing all of that I had a 5 color festiva and decided I had better paint it. I could decide for a couple days what color I wanted. I was looking at some old pics of past cars I had and came across my first festiva and it was painted flat black. I was hook agian to the color except the last one didnt have the windows or black wheels. Well now its painted and I think its looks awesome i'm getting looks all around towm people cant figure out what it is cause there is no bagdes onit what so ever. My future plans include putting my zx2 seats i have in my sisters garage in it and putting a better sterio system in it. This being my 8th one I know what I wanted and wasted no time getting it there. I have a couple pics to put here of before during and after the rest of the pics are at the following link

                    My entry: 89' L

Here is my entry, it's a 1989 L. At first the car was my parent's car, and I drove it on weekends and stuff while they were driving it. Then they got a new car, and I had my 93' so the car sat for a long while. After the 93' blew the headgasket I brought this car back to life and started driving it again. I have lots of fun memories with this car, it's the first festiva that I ever drove out on the hwy. I got my first speeding ticket with this car  and I took it to prom my junior and senior year.

Here it is the day we bought it:

Some pics of the cars progress along the way..

                    How it sits right now.

Here's a list of everything that I've done to it so far:
-Aspire Swap with Honda VX wheels
                    -FMS strut brace
                    -New struts/shocks w/cut stock springs
                    -New tie rod ends
                    -New CV's on both sides
                    -New Radiator
                    -New Muffler
                    -New spark plug wires

                    Future plans for it are:
-Do all the body work on it and then repaint it
                    -B6-E swap
                    -Aspire front sway bar
-Escort GT front seats or some sportier ones

Well, thats my entry.. I know it's not much to look at but it gets the job done

can i throw my car in? my friends and i used to race 200 dollar cars at his property. we had a 1/10 mile track we would fly around and when we were done we would scrap the cars for 300 bucks. we decorated cars and i thought it would be hilarious to do an a-team festiva. fast forward to now, i am on my 2nd official dumball rally(dumballrallyusa.com) and had eyeballed this car when looking last year for anything. but the lady would not sell it. then she would, then she jacked the price to an unreasonable amount. so i had an 87 nova that was based on the deathproof nova. well, i got a van and started paint and had a hotwheels theme, but decided to pursue the festy one last time. i still paid too much, but sold the van for a profit to take the initial cost of the festiva down. in order to sell my son's( when i told him i was selling it he said, "don't sell MY van...daddy.") van i had to let this be his idea. i told him we could do it on another hotwheels car and voila! the festiva was mine! the boy loves it.
i'll post in a pic of the car when we 1st got it, now, and the hotwheels screen shot.
oh, i had old amps and subs lying around and was able to shove a bazooka tube 8 under the passenger seat and an alpine amp under the driver's side. chrome skull shifter...
