Accepting entries for January 2014 FOTM

Its a new year.....lets see what the year will have to offer. :woc:

Originally this Festiva was to remain %100 stock but, as you can see that didn't happen. Forgot a crucial part. I bought this car with a blown engine and bought an engine and tranny from another member on here.

First came the stereo install which includes (2) 6" front speakers and (2) 6x9 in the rear and a 10" sub.

That was fine for a while until I impulse bought an old FMS Stage 2 cam.

Then while searching for a tranny for a friend I came across some goodies. 121 grill and headlight along with probably FMS front and rear bumpers. To complete the install I needed an H4 HID kit and some fogs.

So you can imagine it looked funny with a body kit and no wheels. I found some 15" wheels and bought those and saved up for some tires. 165/45/15. It wouldn't look right so I took off the coilovers from the turbo Festiva.

I felt the brakes were the weak point so, I ordered an Escort master cylinder but, now I need a bigger booster. That would be the next mod.

As of today but, not shown in the pictures I switched the tinted windows over as well.

So much for %100 stock huh.

Future plans include a B8 swap and an Aspire power rack.

First day I detailed it.

We only have 1 person going for FOTM? Kind of odd with all the people we have on here.

Sock....if we can get a full year out of this then yes, there will be a FOTY.

This is the first time I have enter either of my festy in FOTM. So here goes:

I bought this car about 3 years ago just to be a beater and had absolutely no intentions for it.

I found this site and began a little work to it about a year ago.

So far I have a custom exhaust I did myself, aftermarket radio, and the interior is being dyed blue as the future color of the car is blue.

It had 77000 mile on it when I bought it from a 85 year old lady that's said she loved it just could not shift gears anymore.

I have 14 in rims that will be going on it soon as I get my coilvers finished (waiting on one more part to come in)

The day I bought it I drove it to my parent house and dad came out said it looked like a pregnant roller skate and that's how it got its nickname..
