  • FOTM .... taking a break.

At this time we are going to take a break from running FOTM. Not sure for how long but at this time it seems everyone is burned out on it so until further notice this section will be on hold.

Sad to hear it. Maybe just not enough new blood to fill it up. I (almost always, didn't this time - forgot) vote for it, but I notice most (99%? haha) don't ever vote.

Hopefully if it comes back, I'll have a car nice enough to enter.

      Bummer.

In the next 3-4 months I hope to have a Festiva worthy enough to enter!

I think one of the issues is people using Tapatalk cannot vote. At least I don't see a vote button

I was waiting for one or more of the other twin carb club members to complete their installs so that we could all compete against each other either this year or next. Anyone else want to convert an EFI to a twin carby and compete against me? I still have two more sets of carbs. An electric fuel pump is needed along with a return fuel line.

And, seriously, I was planning on posting my car for the March competition late this evening, once I get the hood on, seat and belts in, and it is buttoned up to go racing! Drat.

I'm one who never votes. I'm usually busy with other things, or just lazy.

I'd recommend to make this "Festiva of the Season" and hold it every three months. That way Willie can get more time off and yet it won't be dropped entirely.

Yea I got an aspire shell, spare b3, no wiring harness in the car, and a 5speed with linkage.. Twin carb would be perfect$$
