    Congratulations Festiver!

So I was working at McDonald's and I totaled my s10 for being a dumb teen trying to drift so I had to drive my dad's spare truck 89 Sierra 3500 454 cool truck but I was making 40 a day and spending 20 a day in gas lol so I needed a car bad and I love driving manuals autos bore me and make me tired so I hit Craigslist and what started as a joke "hey I'm gonna get a festiva hurrr durr" I started to like the idea.... My mom didn't lol so found the cheapest 5 speed car on Craigslist a 93 festiva was being parted out because of a broken brake line (what a terrible reason) drove out there after school with my bud parents had no idea I saved it bought it with no door and no wheels actually didn't know about the wheels the first time I went so I drove 3 hours to pay $400 for it and left it there went home then told my parents lol I went back out again with a set of American racing 14x6 directionals to pick the car up found a door out there and picked it up on the way home lol total into the car was 650 at that point but it ran pretty decently and had a good trans found out needed a brake like master cylinder and a brake and bearing over haul got it back on the road the first thigh was the nimbleness I had only drivin trucks till this point and the feeling was almost addicting feeling low and the fact I can move around so much but stay in my lane the acceleration was nice too the feeling of direct engine to wheels feeling you just can't get in a older auto what was a joke turned into my passion quickly bought the car late October on the road early November aspire swapped in april had it like that for a long time bought the bp for 190 did a cross state trip 5 hr one way then traded my atv for the capri trans and axles drove out 3hr me and my best bud (the guy at madness with me) pulled the engine and trans from the capri within 2hr and went home then summer I got the bp ready on the weekends because I worked for my cousin landscaping 60hr a week so I actually lived in NJ 5days a week so one day a week for 3 months I bp/g swapped man I missed that car it really made the drives awful not driving festiver but I finished it and it just did 1000 miles in 24 hours not perfect but not the total pos some people like to make it out to be this car is a major part of my life now itd be hard to give it up even for a better festiva rolling on these gross steelies they might look alright with a clean up the day before the bp/g swap bp finally mounted festiver today running good(could run better) sittin proud

Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Driving is my passion, as it was for the people who invented the automobile, the people who paved the first roads and the people who continue to improve the automobile. Please respect this passion.
