A little back story on Verde--

Saw him for sale on FB. Contacted the old owner to go see the car--I end up showing up while he's not at work. I pulled up and saw those clear tail lights and knew we were buying this one. Used Carby Car's keys to get in, check it over, and confirm to Dennis that everything looked cleanish. So we drive almost 2 hours to come back and get this car and get it home. It has no second gear and no rear brakes. That was a nail-biter.

It sat for awhile once we got it home until one day, the lovely state of Indiana towed our cars from behind our house for not being plated. We rescued them for over $200 each, and finally Dennis got the spark he needed to get this car back into shape again. It got him to our wedding at Madness and back home again before the block cracked, and lonely he sits, waiting now for a B6 and trans swap!

I will enter my nasty parts car when I get home, just so Verde doesn't run alone

              THE MOUSE HOUSE

              This is the Mouse House.

I picked this 88 LX for free in Ohio, driving 5 hours each way to pick it up with a trailer.

Ran when Parked. In 2006. Over 10 years ago.

Being native to Ohio, it is full of rust. Holes in the floor, that sort of thing.

It was an LX. I say "Was" because many of the cool LX bits were missing, taken off at some point long ago.

But that's not all that was missing. No, what you notice missing right away is the interior, namely anything that may have contained cloth.
That's because it was all stripped out and, hopefully, burned in a sacrifice to all that was holy. All of the years of Mice that had decided to call this rust containment unit a Home did things so unspeakable to the inside of this car that the Metal itself is stained with a scent.
This Car is absolutely gross. I am parting it out using gloves and then it going straight to the scrapyard, where it belongs.

Please do not Vote for me.

Its soaked in mouse urine, hence why I left it there dangling, and why I need a replacement! LOL

Is this going to be trending?

If this beats the beautiful Verde, Dennis may have to murder me.
